Among Us begins in Tanzania, Africa where Alex grows up in the shadow of his mysterious and feared father. It is upon the death of his father that Alex is drawn into a supernatural and evil world of witches and black magic and is forced to escape in order to maintain control of his own life.
From a tiny village in Tanzania to America, Alex struggles to hold on to his identity in a world increasingly bizarre and surreal. Through work, love, fatherhood and loss, the claims of his past inevitably bring him back to Africa, where the tentacles of his father reach out to take away, in horrifying brutality all that is dear to his heart.
This tale of physical and emotional survival gives us inspiration and insight into the power of an individual, even when faced with unspeakable evil.
